Ukraine faced its largest Russian drone and missile strike of the war overnight, targeting multiple cities, including Kyiv’s historic Pecherskyi district. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the cabinet building was hit, causing damage to its roof and upper floors.
According to Ukraine's air force:
810 drones and 13 missiles were launched.
747 drones and 4 missiles were intercepted.
Nine missiles and 54 drones impacted 33 locations across Ukraine.
This total of 823 munitions surpasses the previous record of 741 munitions from the July 9 attack.
